The cooperation of the Museum of Wola and Leroy Merlin invited us to create a unique architectural education room for children. We have created an interior design of the room, dividing it into functional zones. Each of them was associated with a different activity, and thus we created various kinds of architectural blocks.
Photo blocks with a wooden trussing on the wall, on the basis of which 6 pictures may be composed (a city map, architecture photos etc.).
Urban blocks (2D city) that may be Velcro fastened to the wall, with which a city may be planned “from above”.
Architectural blocks (3D city), cardboard shapes with major architectural motives that make it possible to compose various cities on the floor.
The project aims at spreading spatial and architectural knowledge among children and therefore developing their creativity and their world perception. The room will be realized in other Polish cities, the model room may be seen in the Museum of Wola in Srebrna Street 12.
