— Idea

Space of values

Green Caffè Nero is a unique coffee shop chain that wins the hearts of residents in every city it enters. Due to the network’s dynamic growth, we have the pleasure, together with the Green Caffè Nero team, of creating spaces that combine European café tradition with modern functionality and a deep respect for the local historical context.

— Process

From context to character

Each new café is a separate, carefully considered creative process — from analyzing the urban context and researching the site’s history to selecting specific design details. Every location is designed individually, with respect for the building’s and surroundings’ history. We use authentic materials — brick, wood, marble, metal — to emphasize the space’s durability and character. Original architectural elements are highlighted, including vaults, wood paneling, and carved details. We collaborate with local artisans, artists, and designers, believing that true quality comes from teamwork and local knowledge. The result is a place that not only looks appealing but also tells its own story and fits seamlessly into the city’s narrative.

— Details

Little details, huge effect

What makes each Green Caffè Nero café truly unique is the conscious attention to detail — those elements that might go unnoticed at first glance but immediately create the atmosphere as soon as you enter. Hand-carved bars, one-of-a-kind chandeliers, period mirrors, archival photographs, custom-made furniture — each piece has its own story and purpose. Nothing is accidental — even the choice of fabrics or wood finishes influences how the space is perceived and how guests feel. The interior color palette is carefully selected to evoke a sense of calm and harmony. Lighting is thoughtfully designed, often inspired by classical forms but executed with modern technology. It is precisely these details that make each space exceptional, allowing every café to tell its own story — from transatlantic references along the Bulwary Wiślane in Warsaw to medieval inspirations in Kraków.

— Hospitality

Comfort, connections, and a cup of good coffee

The interiors of Green Caffè Nero are designed not only to impress with their aesthetics but, above all, to welcome and host guests. Every square meter serves people — whether they’ve come for a moment of rest, to work remotely, meet friends, or simply enjoy a cup of coffee. We prioritize ergonomics, comfort, and functionality. Spaces are divided into intimate zones that allow for conversation, work, or relaxation in a calm atmosphere. Technology is present but unobtrusive — supporting the experience without dominating it. Green Caffè Nero is more than a café — it is a place for meetings, relationships, and stories. It acts as an extension of the city’s living room, where everyone can feel relaxed, safe, and welcome. We believe that hospitality begins with attentiveness — to the needs of guests, the context of the place, and the details that shape the experience. That is why we take pride and joy in co-creating spaces that invite people to become part of the local story — one cup at a time.

We choose locations with history and soul. We want our cafés to be more than just a place to drink coffee. Every new opening is an opportunity for us to create a space that not only serves excellent coffee but also tells a story.

Dorota Pomacho-Pątkiewicz, CEO of Green Caffè Nero

The architects designing for Green Caffè Nero ensured that every detail reflects the rich history of the building. In the café, guests can find original covers of the magazine Przekrój, a printing press, the first edition of Dziennik Polski from 1945, and other design elements inspired by historic newspaper editorial offices.

The philosophy of Green Caffè Nero is based on creating cozy and comfortable spaces where quality goes hand in hand with a unique atmosphere, allowing each café to naturally integrate into the local environment and become a part of it.
