The interior design of Hotel Gold in Złotoryja is based on a dialogue between the city’s local identity and a contemporary, elegant design language. Złotoryja – the oldest town in Poland, historically connected with the tradition of gold prospecting – became a natural starting point for building the interior narrative.

“Gold” here is not a literal reference, but a metaphor for quality, light, and warmth. We interpret gold as a subtle accent—present in the details, material reflections, warm lighting tones, and refined finishes. The atmosphere of the hotel is calm, balanced, and elegant, yet free from ostentation. It is a space that combines a boutique character with the functionality of a business and leisure property.

Style
The design was developed based on an analysis of the needs of two main user groups: business guests and tourists visiting the Lower Silesia region. The key objective was to create a clear, intuitive spatial structure while maintaining a welcoming and comfortable character. The entrance area and lobby were designed as a space of fluid transition—between the reception, the lounge area, and the food and beverage facilities. Clear functional divisions were achieved through light, materials, and furniture, rather than through aggressive architectural barriers. The room layouts were organized according to principles of ergonomics and maximum space efficiency. Custom-built joinery integrates storage, work, and relaxation functions, reducing visual clutter. Circulation is simple and intuitive—the guest moves through the space in a natural rhythm, without the need for additional signage.

Comfort
The design was guided by the idea of comfort—both physical and emotional. The guest rooms feature soft, layered lighting, high-quality textiles, and solutions that promote tranquility. Acoustics, an appropriate light color temperature, and ergonomic furnishings all support rest and regeneration. The common areas were conceived as spaces for meetings, but also for moments of pause—offering comfortable seating, intimate conversation zones, and a welcoming human scale. Hotel Gold in Złotoryja is a space that does not flaunt luxury, but offers it in a balanced and natural way. It is a project in which aesthetics support function, and detail shapes the experience—so that every stay leaves a lasting sense of calm, quality, and thoughtfully designed hospitality.
