Mésalliances are combinations of what is commonly forbidden, seemingly mismatched, or socially unacceptable. They bring together elements despite great differences, strong opposition, public uproar, and scandal. In a mésalliance, love triumphs, standing above all divisions.
The project was recognized as one of the most beautiful interiors in the world at the international Restaurant & Bar Design Awards.

The word has been declined in all grammatical cases, inviting playful experimentation with design and details. While preparing inspirations and conceptualizing the new restaurant and its Polish menu, we didn’t want to interpret the name literally. On one hand, we aimed to reference iconic Polish design patterns from the 1950s and ’60s, as well as contemporary examples, and on the other, to combine unexpected and bold stylistic contrasts. Despite numerous original and eye-catching elements, the entire interior remains cohesive, consistent, and cozy.

The dominant color palette consists of beiges, complemented by shades of burgundy and pink, which appear on both the furniture and the walls. The heart of the venue is the bar located opposite the entrance, featuring a tall shelving unit displaying vodkas, along with a large table symbolizing Polish hospitality. Above it — and similarly near the entrance — hangs a custom-designed LED lamp with an irregular, arched shape.
Surreal elements that stand out in the restaurant include a huge pink unicorn suspended from the ceiling, specially shipped by sea, and an inverted room positioned on the bar wall.

In addition to its distinctive design, the restaurant stands out with an extraordinary menu that reflects the creativity of its interior. The menu was developed under the supervision of Executive Chef Rafał Lorenc, a Warsaw-born chef with extensive experience and a Top Chef quarterfinalist, who oversees three restaurants. Plant-based dishes were created by Dominika Targosz, author of the book “Roślinna sprawa”. The cocktail menu was crafted by head bartender Kuba Dudek, together with consultant Anita Jurach and the bar team. Photography was done by Marek Lubacz.
Being recognized in an international competition is, for 370studio, confirmation that designing restaurants can be an art form that works and stays in memory. The studio, operating since 2012 and specializing in HoReCa spaces (hotels, restaurants, cafés), once again demonstrates that local identity and creative boldness can achieve success beyond the borders of Poland.

The color scheme, based on shades of beige, burgundy, and pink, gives the place a distinctive atmosphere. The architects emphasize that the inspiration came from the idea of unexpected combinations, which define the character of the venue. From the perspective of an ordinary person with no particular knowledge of interior architecture, I can confidently say that I have never seen such an interesting restaurant interior before.

The interior of Mésalliance stands out for its unexpected combinations: a large pink unicorn is suspended from the ceiling, and an inverted room is positioned on the bar wall, introducing an element of surrealism to the space. The palette is dominated by eye-pleasing shades of beige, burgundy, and pink, giving the interior a cozy yet distinctive character.
NOIZZ
Mésalliance, realized in the spirit of collaborative partnership and mutual trust, demonstrates that contrasts — when thoughtfully executed — can not only decorate a space but also create a strong, emotional connection with the guest.

The eclectic interior of the venue reflects an unconventional approach: the architects focused on unexpected combinations of styles and seemingly mismatched decorations, inspired by different eras. A striking feature is the large pink unicorn suspended from the ceiling, while the inverted room on the bar wall introduces an element of surrealism to the design.
