Sushi Zushi is a network of restaurants serving authentic Japanese sushi made of highest quality products.
The place in question was designed on the ground floor of a historic 19-C. tenement house at the crossroads of Tel Aviv’s two main streets, where there are dozens of cafes and restaurants.

The design was prepared based on the solutions worked out for the place in the Warsaw district of Sadyba, like the wooden paneling on the bar and under the ceiling, hand painted fish motifs, and neons.

Vital elements contributing to the unique character and atmosphere of the restaurant are old interior elements which were there before, like the coffer ceiling as well as the original floor decoration made of one-colour tiles that we decided to preserve and highlight by adding ornaments. One of them is a line of golden scales making up a frieze around the interior.

Situated in the city centre, it is going to be not only a sushi place but also a drink bar.
This is why the lower part of the bar was made of vertical stripes of brass sheet, which contributes to a more party-like and exclusive character, balancing the warm feeling of the wooden construction of the bar and its installations.

The whole design is complemented by subtle warm lighting: wall lights and minimalist lamps above the tables.
