Van Dog is a new concept on the Polish market, serving delicious van dogs made of carefully selected products. The characteristic specially baked, crispy V-shaped bun as well as the delicate sausage are the brand’s trademarks.

The author and the owner of the concept is Foodio Concepts, a subsidiary of Helios cinemas, part of the Agora Group.

We worked with the brand from the very beginning; from the first ideas and logo sketches, up to the final version of the concept, which was mirrored in the interior design. Van Dog is a rebellious brand, slightly cheeky; a troublemaker with a character, hating to be compared to its elder brother, the hot-dog.

The interior in the historical building complex of the Koneser Vodka factory reflects Van Dog’s character. The counter, made of aluminium sheet, refers to caravans and foodtrucks.  Dark blue walls and light bulb garlands are to evoke distant travels.

An essential element integrating the interior is the centrally situated bar, serving beverages and alcohols. Its industrial character, as well as the trapezoidal sheet cladding, are to evoke containers and distant harbours, from which unique spices and toppings making up a van dog are brought.

The restaurant in Koneser is the first one of the network. The others are situated in Galeria Młociny and in Galeria Słoneczna (Radom), and new ones are to be opened soon.
