Bierhalle is a chain of restaurants with its own beer production, which has been present on the Polish market since 2005. The pioneering location was the restaurant in the shopping centre Arkadia in Warsaw. Because of the approaching 10th anniversary of the brand, we were asked to refresh the image of that very place by rearranging the interior and designing new, graphically attractive, visual materials for print.
The interior design, as well as realizing the “lifting” of the already existing brand were a bit of a challenge, especially as the changes had to be implemented without closing the premises. The key to success turned out to be the appropriate phasing of work.
Within our audit, we both spotted the strong sides of the brand, which we tried to reveal and highlight at the following stages of the project, and noticed some elements that needed improving. Based on these analyses, the relaunched Bierhalle is a real gem. Properly illuminated vats fully expose Bierhalle’s own beer production and copper interior decoration are visually correspond with the heart of this place. The quality of repeatedly award-winning beer is proudly presented on the neighbouring wall. Another important change consisted in the introduction of a clear information about the possibility of having takeaway beer – instead of the previous barely visible small fridge there is a copper niche attracting attention with its neon clearly visible from a distance. After the lifting, the interior itself got a more club-like character. Comfy leather loges, warm lighting and climatic photographs made Bierhalle look younger without giving up on its original image.
