Sing Sing is a new concept of Marcin Wachowicz (the owner of such restaurants as Aioli, Momu, Banjaluka, and MazalTov). The restaurant is a fusion of visions of Asian restaurants and pop culture. In this spacious, two-storey interior, together with the owners, we created a place combining the street chaos typical of Asia with the style associated with Bruce Lee and Akira Kurosawa.
The heart of the restaurant is the bar situated in front of the entrance, with shelving units smoothly transforming into steel elements on the next storey. Its style refers to the looks of the speakeasy bars in Shaghai from the end of the colonial era.
Each zone of the restaurant has its own character. To the right of the entrance, there is a tall table with suspended cherry branches. Behind an open-work wall, inside the place there are soft loges, above which we hanged movie posters and neons referring to the style of Asian fairy tales.
But there are even more custom-designed graphic arts to find there. Some of them are on the entrance wall and the others decorate the toilets.
