When visiting Zkurczybyk, you enter into another world. Thanks to the street feeling of the interior design, inspired by the Bronx and full of old school sounds and original details, you can not only taste the unique dishes but also some casual atmosphere.
Already in the street in front of the restaurant, you are invited to enter by a naughty neon in cabaret tights made of metal net. Then, step by step, you discover the cozy space with an industrial edge. The heart of the place is the time-worn metal sheet “container” with an open kitchen serving original wings, French fries, and sandwiches. The vintage style checkerboard floor and the wall decorated with washing machines make you think of NY suburbs. However, we avoid being too straightforward and we like to surprise people. In this interior, there is no room for randomness. The washing machines are an art installation with spinning photographs; the rusty back room cabinets seem to have always been there, and the washbasin made of a beer keg operated by a floor pedal is not only showy but also very practical. There are a lot of tricky details inside. Have fun discovering them!
